Wisdom House Co
Teakwood + Bergamot Concrete Candle
Our Teakwood and Bergamot fragrance is a fall favorite. This candle has a warm spicy top note of ginger and peppercorn, which gives way to aged teakwood and tobacco leaf with citrusy notes of bergamot, and rounds out with base notes of amber and sandalwood.
Each of our concrete candle vessels is crafted by hand. Our candles are made with coconut wax for an eco-friendly clean burn. We use zinc-free, cotton-core wicks and phthalate-free fragrance oils infused with essential oils. Our one-of-a-kind candles and vessels are made in small batches in Jackson, Tennessee.
We want your experience at Wisdom House to be as simple and enjoyable as possible. We stand behind everything we make and place as high a value on customer service as we do on our products. We've worked hard to streamline this process with you in mind.
We aim to process your orders as quickly as we can. Most of our orders are fulfilled within 1-3 business days. Once your package has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking information.
Our website should stay up to date on any fulfillment delays we are experiencing. At the moment, USPS and UPS are also experiencing delays with delivery. We are unable to offer any expedited shipping options at this time.
We carefully inspect and package each order before it is shipped. In the unlikely event that you receive an order that is broken or damaged, we will do our best to make it right as soon as possible. Please send an email to email@example.com and include a photo of the item in the packaging as well as your information and a brief message. We will either issue you a replacement or a refund within a few days.
Allow your candle to burn 2-4 hours during the first burn. This helps create an even burn throughout the duration of the candle's life.
Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts or anything flammable. We recommend using a 2 foot rule.
Trim the candle wick after each burn. This can ensure a steady flame and prevent sooting and excessive mushrooming of the wick.
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and any kind of debris.
Be sure to store your candle in a cool, dark and dry place
Always burn your candle within sight - away from the reach of pets and children. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Extinguish your candle when 1/4 inch of wax remains. Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
A note about the way our candles burn:
Our concrete candles burn in a unique way. After the first 2-3 hour burn, you will have melt pool that has not reached the edge of the vessel. This is intentional. The candle itself is wicked to ensure that the outer concrete vessel does not overheat. It is only at the end of the burn, when the candle reaches its hottest temperature, that you will notice the wax left on the sides of the vessel will begin to melt. Once your candle has had its final burn, remove the wick and give new life to your vessel by enjoying it as a planter or other container.
